SUMMER SCHOOL/ EDUCATIONAL VISITS
The School organizes regular academic classes for Matric, O-Level & A-Level for about five weeks during Summer Vacation. Attendance in these classes is compulsory and nominal extra charges are levied on each student regardless of the fact whether he / she attends classes or not. Besides this, the following activities are organized for Prep Section boys (P6, P7 & S1 / C1) subject to the availability of adequate number of students and parents' approval:
a) English Language Teaching ( Speaking & Writing)
b) Excursions, especially to Northern areas
Nominal charges are levied for all the above activities except (b) for which actual total expenditure is distributed among all participants.
Permission of the parents is obtained for Day Pupils for all educational visits. Consent of boarders' parents is exercised on their behalf by the Principal, unless otherwise stated by them.
Day pupils will provide written consent of their parents/guardians along with the duly completed trip proformas.
Consent in respect of Boarders will be signed by the students themselves after consulting their parents and countersigned by their respective Housemasters/Housemistresses.
The School accepts no liability regarding any accident, casualty or loss in respect of any student during the trip.
CRAFT AND HOBBIES - (currently not active)
Children possess a number of talents and abilities which find no means of expression in ordinary School curriculum or even on the playfield. Craft is the general term to provide variety of activities where manual skill combines with mental ingenuity. Students are encouraged to utilize their leisure by joining one of the following hobbies:
Computer, carpentry, electricity and wireless, scouting, art and aero modeling, photography, stamp collecting and book binding.
SADIQ is for wholesome education. Here curricular and co-curricular activities are of pivotal significance.
Co-curricular activities play a vital role in grooming students' personality. These activities include dramatics, debates (English / Urdu), quiz and essay writing competitions (English/Urdu).
Gold Medals are awarded every year for the two best articles on the 'Life of Quaid-e-Azam' one each in English and Urdu. Weekly Social Evenings are a regular feature in the boarding houses and provide the boarders with a chance to show their talent.
The Senior School has a group of scouts from among the boys of class VIII or IX . The scouts are trained by a member of the staff and the group takes part in Scout Jamborees in the country and abroad.
Scouting is the mission to contribute to the education of young people through a value system based on the Scout promise and Law to help by building a better world where people are self fulfilled as individuals and play a constructive role in society.
20th world Scout Jamboree was held in Thailand in Dec. 2002 in which SPS scouts with their Scoutmaster participated. Their performance was marvelous. In 2004 SPS Scouts secured second position throughout the training camp competitions in Ghora Gali.

The glorious traditions of an institution contribute towards splendors and further advancement to its transcended destination and the cherished dreams of its workers. In All Pakistan Bilingual Declamation Contest 2003 held at Army Burn Hall College Abbotabad, our debating team secured first position. In All Pakistan English Declamation Contest held at Cadet College Mastung, the School secured first position. In All Pakistan Declamation Contest held at Cadet College Petaro, the School won the runners up trophy. In the All Pakistan Bilingual Declamation Contest held at Lawrence College Ghora Gali, Murree, the team of Sadiq Public School was declared the best and awarded the Champions trophy. In the All Pakistan Debating Contest held at Cadet College Kohat, the school team was adjudged the best and awarded the trophy. In the All Pakistan Declamation Contest held at Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Swabi, our students won the second prize. The pride of all our glorious achievements was at its peak when we contested in All Pakistan Declamation Contest held at Government College University Lahore. Forty leading institutions including 19 universities took part in this competition. Sadiq Public School established itself as the best debating team of Pakistan by winning the 1st Prize.
In All Pakistan Quiz held at Cadet College Kohat in which some 22 leading institutions took part, our team comprising Umair Bashir and Ahmad Mujtaba secured the first position and was awarded the running trophy. Five students from Sadiq were awarded the coveted Certificates of Merit in the essay writing competition conducted by the Royal Commonwealth Society, London. Essays of Umair Bashir and Arsalan Haleem were graded as ‘Highly Commended’. Talha Rasheed was placed amongst the top fifty in the national Physics Talent Contest held by Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Nilore, Islamabad.
